Powerlifting cLUB In Central London
At FORT Training, we’re not interested in gimmicks… we build real strength.
Our Powerlifting programme, located in Elephant & Castle, is designed for anyone serious about mastering the big lifts: the Squat, Bench Press, and Deadlift. Whether you’re looking to compete or simply want to get stronger safely and effectively, our expert coaching and structured programming will take you there.
Powerlifting is a sport of precision, patience, and progression. Unlike general weight training, it focuses on lifting maximal loads with correct technique and structured progression. At FORT Training, we provide a focused environment where every rep counts, supported by intelligent coaching and a community of lifters in our Powerlifting Club who know what hard work feels like.
It doesn’t matter if you’re new to strength training or chasing your next competition total, we’ll teach you how to lift right, lift heavy, and keep progressing for the long haul.

Powerlifting is the purest form of strength training… focused, measurable, and brutally effective. Here’s why it stands out:
- Clear, objective progression to track your lifts, hit new PBs
- Technical mastery of fundamental movements
- Time-efficient training that delivers real strength
- A disciplined, goal-oriented approach
- A strong, supportive lifting community
If you’re serious about building strength, not just getting sweaty, a Powerlifting Gym is the path to follow.
For most lifters, 3 to 4 Powerlifting sessions per week strikes the right balance between volume, intensity, and recovery. Beginners typically start with three sessions focusing on technique and foundational strength, while more advanced lifters may follow four or more sessions with structured periodisation.
At FORT, we’ll tailor your programme to match your goals, ability, and recovery needs, ensuring long-term progression without burnout.
Absolutely. At FORT Training, our Powerlifting club is built on shared goals, mutual respect, and a passion for strength. You’ll spot each other on heavy squats, celebrate PBs together, and support one another through the grind.
We regularly host technique workshops, mock meets, and community lifting days, so you’re always part of something bigger than just another gym session.
